Choosing the right bidet doesn’t have to be complicated. Hapbidets offers two simple options—Spray for cool water, Spark for a warm-and-cool blend. The right choice comes down to your toilet, your water supply, and whether you want warm water from a nearby sink.
We make this simple:
-
Spray—single-temperature (cool water)
-
Spark—dual-temperature (cool + warm blend)
Everything else comes down to your toilet, your water supply, and (for warm water) sink access.
Step 1: Confirm Your Toilet Type
Standard two-piece toilet (most common)
- Separate tank and bowl
- This setup always works with Hapbidets
- If this is you, you’re in great shape
Skirted toilet
- Smooth, enclosed base that hides plumbing
- These can work, but access is tighter
- You’ll want to confirm you can reach the shutoff valve and water connection
- If you’re unsure, a quick photo of the side of your toilet usually answers this immediately.
Not advised
- Flushometer toilets (commercial style with exposed flush valve)
- Wall-mounted toilets
- These setups typically aren’t compatible with bidet attachments.
Step 2: Check Your Water Supply Line
Look at the line connecting the wall shutoff valve to the toilet tank.
Flexible hose (ideal)
- Usually braided metal or flexible polymer
- This is the most common setup
- Installs are quick and straightforward
Rigid / hard pipe
- Solid metal pipe that does not bend
- Still installable, but requires swapping the pipe for a flexible hose
- We provide clear instructions for replacing a rigid pipe.
- This is also a great reason to book our 1-on-1 live install via video chat if you want guidance in real time.
Step 3: Decide Between Spray or Spark
Spray—single temperature (cool)
- Connects directly to your toilet’s water supply
- No sink access needed
- Fastest and simplest install
- Clean, effective, and surprisingly refreshing
Spark—dual temperature (warm + cool)
- Blends warm water from your sink with cool water from your toilet
- Requires easy access to a nearby sink
- Ideal if you want temperature control and added comfort
- If your sink is close enough to comfortably run the included hose, Spark is an excellent upgrade. If not, Spray is the better choice.
Still Not Sure?

After that, it’s just clean, simple, and normal.
